Newfound Woodworks

RFD 2 Box 850
Danforth Brook Road
Bristol, New Hampshire 03222

(603) 744-6872

Just about everything you'd need, they resell from selected manufacturers.

They have everything, but only from one or two manufacturers and not always at the lowest prices. A good bet if you just want to call one place and order all your stuff.

McFeeley's

1620 Wythe Rd
PO Box 11169
Lynchburg, VA 24506-1169

(800) 443-7937

Square drive screws, sawblades, drillbits, misc tidbits.

Not really kayak related - but if you haven't been using square drive screws you've gotta try them! And McFeeley's is the place to buy them...

Tool Crib of the North

PO Box 14040
Grand Forks, ND 58208-4040

(800) 358-3096

All kinds of hand tools (including sanders).

Well priced and fast service.

Hydra Kayaks

3645 NW 67th Street
Miami, FL 33147

(800) 537-8888

Kayaks and, if you ask, and accessories catalog including seats, hatches, footbraces, skirts, etc.

Didn't actually order anything, but their catalog is nice.

Hamilton Marine

PO Box 227
Searsport, Maine 04974

(207) 548-6302

compass, eye strap, rope, bungee, stainless hardware, hatches

Great selection, great prices, great catalog - this is one of my favorites!

Northwest Outdoor Center

2100 Westlake Ave North
Seattle, WA 98109

(800) 683-0637

paddles, skirts, pfds, seats, footbraces, pumps, lots more

This place is great - they have lots, nice catalog, fast service/shipping, good prices. I would definitely buy as much from them as possible - they have most of the outfitting needs.

Chesapeake Light Craft

1805 George Ave
Annapolis, MD 21401

(410) 267-0137

kits, plywood, MAS epoxy, varnish, glass, foam, etc.

They have everything, but only from one or two manufacturers and not always at the lowest prices. A good bet if you just want to call one place and order all your stuff.

SystemThree

PO Box 70436
Seattle, WA 98107

(800) 333-5514

Epoxy, glass, rollers, brushes, other epoxy tools

Their epoxy worked great for me... Good prices on rollers and cloth too! Stock up on the rollers since they cost lots more locally.

Forrest

457 River Road
Clifton, NJ 07014

(800) 733-7111

saw blades

The Forrest woodworker II thin kerf carbide sawblade is awesome! Rips incredibly fast and smooth - if you are going to be ripping over 1000 ft per kayak treat yourself to a nice blade.
