Starting at the sheer line place a strip down each side. Then start going up from there...
After placing 4-5 strips on one side and placing a brad at each station to hold them I had to stop and clamp the strips tight to each other with strings tied and wedged in between each station. This is slow, but you end up with no inter-station staple holes. Each set of 4-5 strips took about an hour to apply and clamp.
